TERMS OF USE
The use of services provided by Sportsteam Private Company to visitors, users, Members of MyTeam which is hosted on the website www.myteam.gr, provides through the service (hereinafter “MyTeam Service”, and / or “MyTeam Platform” and / or “MyTeam” or “Service”), the possibility to browse, update, search for types of products and services, depending on their needs and preferences, which are available from online stores (e-shop) of third commercial companies (hereinafter referred to as Merchants).
Sportsteam Private Company is an Advertising and Promotion Company of Commercial Companies and their products, which aims to mobilize Fans, who by making purchases from the promoted Commercial Companies, enjoy preferential prices and have the opportunity to support their favorite Teams (hereinafter referred to as Sports Association) of any sport, recognized by the respective National Federation.
The purpose of myteam.gr is to distribute to consumers promotional coupons for FREE concerning various products and services, offered by a wide range of companies throughout Greece. The Services provided by myteam.gr are exclusively of informational and advertising nature and are subject to the following terms. The services of myteam.gr are provided FREE of charge for all its subscribed members and are addressed to consumers and businesses.
Consequently, MyTeam bears no responsibility for the completion of the order or purchase and the delivery of the product or service from a Store. It is not involved in the financial transaction either. The observance of the provisions regarding online sales falls within the responsibility of each Store/ Merchant.
HOW IT WORKS
MyTeam ensures from the Merchant a percentage of “discount”, a margin for the Fan / customer on the final product price.
This “discount” is divided into three parts.
- A small percentage on the discount value is given to MyTeam as a fee for the maintenance of the offered Advertising and Promotion service.
- A great percentage of the “discount” returns to Fans/ Customers in the form of real discount on the final product price. And finally,
- A third percentage, equal to the Fan’s discount; when MyTeam receives from the Merchants this amount plus its fee (1), then it will deposit it to the Sports Association previously selected to be supported by the Fan/ Customer through MyTeam platform upon subscription.
In the event that the Fan/ Customer- user does not indicate any Sports Association to be supported, the amount that will correspond to him/her, will be directed to a special account which will be maintained by MyTeam, intended to support Greek Sports in general, responding to potential requests for support from Sports Associations, which operate legally and are recognized by the relevant Panhellenic Federation of the said sport.
In order to benefit from the discounts, Fans/ Customers- users must make use of the coupons which correspond to the partner companies of their interest within the site. Then the user copies the coupon from MyTeam.gr and transfers it by pasting it on the Merchant’s e-shop during transaction process.
The service is provided to individuals, who according to Greek Law are eligible for legal transactions for personal, non-commercial use and under the condition of full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Use which the visitor is asked to read carefully and – if accepted – to proceed to visit / use the pages / sections / services of MyTeam.gr.
MyTeam undertakes the responsibility to maintain statistical data, by making proper and lawful use of Buyers/ Fans data. At regular intervals, MyTeam will announce on its website the amounts collected for each Athletic Association selected by the Buyers / Fans. The anonymous notification will be visible only to contracting parties and in no case will it be disclosed to third parties, unless otherwise required by the applicable law and only to the competent authorities.
MINORS
MyTeam users declare that they are at least 18 years old. Minors are allowed to use MyTeam only with the consent, approval and supervision of their parents and / or guardians, who have the full responsibility that arises as a result of the use of the service by a minor.
USER ACCOUNT
Visiting, browsing and using MyTeam service does not require any personal information to be given by the visitor.
Visitors in order to proceed to purchases from listed stores so as to benefit from preferential prices and support their Teams, must subscribe as Users, and they must be residents of Greece and at least 18 years old. The information provided upon subscription should be the user’s himself/ herself, it must be accurate and updated when necessary. The Account is personal, and companies are excluded from creating accounts. Additionally, users may maintain more than one Account in the Service.
Subscription is mandatory in order for MyTeam to provide Users with discount coupons, which they can use while shopping at Collaborating Stores.
UPDATES
When a User subscribes to the Service and accepts these terms of use, he/she gives his/her consent to receive e-mails, i.e. confirmation of subscription and confirmation of first click in a Partner Store, as well as informative e-mails, i.e. adding new Partner Stores and Merchants to the Service, MyTeam news, recording purchases in user’s Account etc. The User can deactivate these updates at any time, through the corresponding page in his/her account.

USER ACCOUNT PROTECTION
From the moment users create their accounts on MyTeam, they are solely responsible for all transactions carried out through their personal account and they must show due diligence to maintain the confidentiality of its content. MyTeam advises its users to take all necessary security measures to prevent an illegal or unauthorized use of its services by third parties.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Website content posted on www.myteam.gr including images, graphics, photographs, drawings, texts and in particular the services provided constitute intellectual property of Sportsteam Private Company. Also, all names, images, logos, and distinctive features that represent MyTeam and its websites, are exclusive trademarks and distinctive features of Sportsteam Private Company.
FRAUDULENT USE
Subscribers must make reasonable and ethical use of the Service. Sportsteam Private Company has the right to deactivate or delete the Account of a Registered User if he/she uses the service in a fraudulent way. Improper use occurs when a registered User:
Uses his/her Account to record purchases made by other people and not by himself/ herself.
Makes purchases that aim to deceive the Collaborating Merchant or misuse an offer, i.e. purchases using fake or other person’s information, non-compliance with the Collaborating Merchant’s terms, etc.
Uses illegal means and techniques to record purchases, such as spyware, adware, malware, robots, forced clicks, automatic openings, automatic cookie dropping or cookie stuffing and other techniques.
RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
Sportsteam Private Company has the right:
To modify and renews these terms unilaterally. In addition, it reserves the right to add, change, suspend or terminate any part of the Service at any time. Sportsteam Private Company is obliged to post the renewed terms on the website of the Service.
To deactivate the Accounts of registered Users who have not logged in to the Service for a period greater than 12 months.
To deactivate or even delete the accounts of registered Users who fail to observe, violate, or do not meet the present terms.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
The Service, the use itself as well as the extracted results are provided under this form and MyTeam does not provide quality guarantees or other Service guarantees of any kind.
MyTeam will not be liable for:
A. any indirect, specific, incidental or consequential loss of reputation resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, or any information on the Service website or any website through hyperlink, including, without limitation, lost profits, suspension of operations, loss of data of registered users, even in the case that Sportsteam Private Company has been informed of the possibility of such damage; or
B. any claim attributable to errors, omissions or other inaccuracies on the Service website or any website to which the Service website is linked through hyperlink.
MyTeam.gr does not bear any responsibility or fault in relation to Collaborating Stores that form part of the Service. No guarantee can be given regarding the operation or the quality of the said stores.
The website which hosts MyTeam.gr can include all kinds of advertisement contents and links to other websites. Sportsteam Private Company does not control the availability, content, privacy policy, quality and integrity of the services provided by other websites to which it refers through “hyperlinks” or advertising contents, and has no responsibility for its users communication with third party service and product providers advertised on MyTeam.gr, and for any commercial transaction that may arise from their relationship.
The User agrees to exempt Sportsteam Private Company and its executives, directors, employees, agents, etc. from any liability and loss, damage, injury or expense (including legal costs) that may arise (or relate to) directly or indirectly from these terms of use.
